Nupi Oibi
Nupi Oibi… have you asked yourself true,
O nupi, I speak now to that soul in you?
Why are we called Aphaubi when we rise,
When we do extra ordinary in life’s skies?
Do they feel jealousy, or wish to break,
The light of worlds that our own hands can make?
They call it pride when we simply create,
Yet fail to see what lies in woman’s fate.
Within us lives a boon they cannot name,
To create a new world from silent pain;
From dust of doubt we rise in burning flame,
To change u n me, like falling gentle rain.
O Nupi Oibi, hear your spirit say—
We build new worlds that none can take away.
